Summer Appreciation Picnic Throwback

Throw back to the JRT employee appreciation picnic in August 2021!

Each year we get together with our employees their families for an afternoon of fun & games. This is a small way to say thank you to our hardworking team.

This year's event started with a company wide pickleball tournament. Congratulations to the company champions- Sven Johnson & John Tapani. The winning team received $500. A few of the teams even dressed up. Good times.

Afterwards, everyone met at Arrowhead Acres park in Vancouver, WA. We had jousting, face painting, pony rides, bounce houses & ax throwing. We had a big BBQ with ribs, lots of sides & desserts. We also hired a coffee company to provide the crew with an espresso bar.

We finished off with employee gifts. Each employee fell into a category depending on the amount of time they have worked for JRT. Some of the gifts were: Traeger Grill, Full Size Yeti Cooler, $500 Cash, Husky Tool Chest, Milwaukee M18 Fuel Blower + Milwaukee M18 Fuel Wet/Dry Vacuum, Airpod Pros + $50 Gift Card, $250 Kuiu Gift Card, Park & Sons Volleyball Net.

A lot of businesses have stopped doing appreciation events. Did you know that only around 44% of companies in the US still host company picnics?
